"Plains Bookies" 
 
 
Plains Bookies meet the 4th Thursday of the month, 7:00 PM, at 555 Buckeye Road, Pleasant Plains, IL. in our Community Room. Bookies Reading Book Club consists of both genders ages 18 to beyond infinity! Every one is welcome you do not have to live in our district to belong. The current membership is 12 but every one is welcome. 
This year is the 10th anniversary of the book club. The 1st meeting was May 23, 2002 with only 2 members. It gained its largest group on Sept. 26, 2002 with "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee and has continues strong to this day!
